I am working as a freelance technical and editorial translator from
English and French to Italian for direct customers (companies,
institutions and individuals), Italian and foreign translation agencies,

October 2007 – December 2009: I worked at EUROMEDIA S.r.L. (Terni – Italy), a multimedia production
company. Tasks: translation and proofreading of texts from and into
English, French and Italian (IT platforms, tourism-based web portals
and site contents, company presentations, multimedia products,
storyboards, promotional offers, business correspondence),
interpreting and relationship management with businesses abroad,
web content management, copywriting for tourism, creation of
contents for e-learning courses in nutrition, press reviews, document
management and filing.
2007: I taught English in a nursery school as an external partner of Lingua+
group (Terni – Italy).
2006: I worked at the front desk of a hotel, welcoming mostly foreign tourists as
well as being involved in translation and interpreting tasks and
acquiring a good knowledge of the tourism/hotel terminology.
2002: I arranged and taught English courses for “Associazione Pro San Gemini”
(an association for tourism promotion in my city and a tourist office).
2002: I worked as an editorial translator from English into Italian for the
English fitness magazine “Muscle & Fitness” (Weider Publishing –

1998/1999 – 2003/2004: University Degree in Translation and Interpreting – languages: English and
French, at the Scuola Superiore Europea per Interpreti e Traduttori (Istituto di
Mediazione Linguistica per Interpreti e Traduttori) [European High School for
Interpreters and Translators (Institute of Linguistic Mediations for Interpreters
and Translators)] of Perugia. Grades: English 108/110, French 108/110. I
wrote two theses on the translation of two texts about nicotinism.

technical/scientific, journalistic, EU policies, economic, legal, general.
