IOT Device Research Project, 2017
• To understand Aeotec Multisensor material and context, demonstration of experiments, evaluation scope (depth & breadth) of the device, data management (reading from sensors, data processing, communication with the cloud), design & deploy a sample IOT based control algorithm with Python in the cloud.
Senior Design Team Project-Bracken Field, Wyoming- Spring 2013
• Developed a full geological, engineering, and petrophysical model of the field using mainly Petra
• Simulated primary production and initial waterflooding Using CMG
• Used simulator to predict how the field would have performed under waterflooding only
• Evaluated the polymer flood by comparing the predicted waterflood performance against the actual polymer flood performance
Waterflooding Team Project- Stewart Field Finney County, Kansas-Fall 2012
• Redesigned, or altered, the waterflood to make the field more economically profitable by the studioSL simulator
• Before making any decisions, groups were asked to develop base line calculations with data provided by the studioSL simulator
• Using those initial calculations, evaluations were made to determine which alternative option was most efficient in increasing the fields overall production
Petroleum Geology Team Project – Dubbs oil field in Ness County, Kansas-Fall 2012
• Studied the Dubbs oil field in Ness County, Kansas, for a better knowledge of its history, development and production, structural and stratigraphic configuration, as well as its future exploration by using Petra.
